Brief Description

A signing certificate is important because it provides a digital authentication of a signer’s identity and ensures the integrity and security of a document. It verifies that the document was signed by the intended individual and has not been altered since the signature was applied.

Signing certificates are essential in establishing trust and credibility in electronic transactions, ensuring the legality and enforceability of digital signatures.

They also help protect against fraud by creating a secure, verifiable audit trail that can be used for compliance and legal purposes.

Instructions

Log in Lexagle. Select the workspace where the completed signing request resides.

Click the Download files drop-down and select Specific Agreements and Certificates.

Tick the checkbox beside Download Certificate of Signing.

To proceed, click Download.

Alternatively, you can set-up to automatically attach certificate of signing during the signing request creation by enabling the Automatically attach certificate of signing toggle.
