How do I edit records in a master table?

Allowing edits ensures that the data remains accurate and consistent across the system, which is critical for reporting, analysis, and decision-making. Additionally, mistakes can happen during data entry, and the ability to edit a record ensures that errors, such as typos, incorrect values, or incomplete information, can be fixed.

Role

This article is relevant for admins and users with Edit Data Table permissions.

Instructions

Go to Settings.

Click Master Data Management.

Select a table from the list.

Select a record. Click the kebab menu on the right-hand side of the record, then select Edit Record.

The Edit Record form appears. Edit the fields as needed.

To proceed, click Save.
