Brief Introduction
Users are allowed to cancel obligations because obligations in contracts may need to be canceled due to changes in business conditions, project scope, or legal requirements.
Note that cancelling an obligation is only applicable for active obligations.
Role
This article is relevant for Obligation Creators, Obligation Owners, and Notified Parties.
Instructions
Go to Obligations.
The list of all obligations you are involved with will appear here. Select an obligation.
Click the kebab menu and select Cancel Obligation.
To proceed, enter the reason for cancellation, then click Proceed to cancel.
Another way to cancel an obligation is through the obligation full-page. To do this, click on an obligation.
The obligation full-page will open. Click Cancel obligation.
Enter a reason for cancellation, then click Proceed to cancel.
