1) Is your file larger than 10MB?

If your file is too large, you will need to reduce the file size to below 10MB and upload it again.

2) Is your file name too long? Does it contain foreign characters?

If your file name exceeds 255 characters, you will need to rename your file to have a shorter name before uploading it again.

If your file name contains foreign characters like Chinese or Japanese, those characters will count as 2 or more English characters as they are processed differently. You will also need to rename your file to have a shorter name before uploading it again.

3) Is your file password protected?

Currently, we are unable to open files that are password protected. You will need to remove password protection and try again.

4) Are you uploading a Microsoft Word file?

Sometimes, a Microsoft Word document can become corrupted for several reasons that may be related to damage to the document or to the template on which the document is based.

To read more about identifying a damaged document, you can refer to this article: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/troubleshoot/word/damaged-documents-in-word
