Types of Redlining
There are two types of redlining that can be done:
Compare between different versions of agreement
Compare to a Lexagle template (Coming out soon!)
In addition to this, redlining can now be done for different versions of an agreements.
Manual Redlining
Users will now be able to compare or redline agreements regardless of any version and in the situation where many of the same agreements are uploaded. In addition, users can compare versions across different rooms in the same workspace as well.
Criteria:
An agreement must be uploaded as a new version of existing agreement in workspace more than twice.
To compare different versions, you can do so by:
clicking the “compare versions” icon in the workspace
or by clicking the “compare versions” icon in the document room
or by previewing the document by clicking on the “view” icon
You can now compare any two versions of your choice!
Note:
“Switch Version” Icon → When users click on this icon, they can switch between the original and revised versions
The revised version of an agreement will always be checked against the original version placed when comparing versions
Once the “Compare” button is clicked, redlining will take place and the document will be downloaded automatically.
