How do I use the Internal and External rooms?

Kickstart contract discussions with features within the workspace and maximise all of its capabilities.

Within the Internal and External rooms, there are various features.

Messages

In the room, you can see messages sent by other stakeholders. To send your own, simply enter your message in the message box and click the Reply button.

Files

In the room, you will see two types of files that are sent.

  1. Agreements

    • Legal documents that require drafting, reviewing, and signing.

    • Versioning will be tracked and changes will be documented using redline.

  2. Supporting Files

    • Other documents that serve as references for the agreements or for other users.

    • e.g. Emails

You can either view them in the room discussion or see a consolidated view in the side panel.

Tasks

In the room, you can assign or be assigned tasks from a message or agreement.

Rooms Panel

In the left panel of the room, you will see all the internal, external, and signing rooms in the workspace. You will only be able to access the rooms that you are a part of.

Document Room

In the left panel of the room, you can also access the Document Room.

In the Document Room, you will see all the consolidated files from the rooms you are a part of.

Stakeholder Management

In the room, you can manage your stakeholders by clicking on the Invite button.

In the Manage Stakeholders popup, you can:

  • See the stakeholders already added to the room

  • Add more people to the room

  • Remove people from the room (only for the room owner and their company members)

    • Note: The room owner cannot be removed from the room.

Room Management

In the room, you can manage your room settings by clicking on the Settings button.

In the Manage Room popup, you can:

  • Hide the audit trail in the room

  • Leave the room

    • Note: The room owner cannot leave the room.

  • Close the room (only for the room owner and their company members)
